MARISSA WEBB FOR BANANA REPUBLIC

Marissa Webb for Banana Republic, Banana Republic Fall Collection 2014

When Banana Republic announced that Marissa Webb would be taking over as creative director, it was clear they were trying to tap into the same "Jenna" phenomenon that has taken J.Crew from a preppy catalog company to a legitimate fashion powerhouse.

Well Banana Republic, mission accomplished.

Webb, who worked at J.Crew before launching her own line, was a good bet. Their new fall collection is incredible thanks to Webb's signature borrowed-from-the-boys styling and a classic, toned down palette. As someone who hasn't shopped at Banana Republic in years, I'm excited to check out the entire line in person.

The coats are especially wonderful. They're not all online right now, but I'm hoping they're in stores.

This is the only heel you'll ever need. Love them styled with these drapey pants.

The men's fall collection looks amazing too.

And this last look is by far my favorite. It's not what I expect out of BR, which is exactly why I love it.
