cool exercise clothes for women
left to right, top to bottom

I hate working out, but I love wearing workout clothes. They're just so comfortable! You can how people fall down the rabbit hole of wearing them to run errands, get groceries, and then all of the sudden it's 99% of their wardrobe. I'm not one to judge though (I confess I wore yoga pants to a 6am flight last week). But, in general I have tried to be better about wearing them around town. Now I try and treat myself by only wearing them if I'm working out. I know. Groundbreaking.

I was running late to my yoga class the other day so my sister-in-law brought me a pair of her yoga clothes. They were so nice! I haven't bought many exercise clothes for myself in the last few years, and I was reminded how motivating a new outfit can be. So, here are a few things I'm eyeing for the gym. The Nike tempo short has always been my go-to, but I also love the fun patterns tights are coming in these days.

My mom recently bought this jacket, and it is so cute on her. She said even though it's light weight, it actually keeps her pretty warm. Definitely a good piece for unpredictable summer showers. I swear you cannot go to an exercise class in New York without seeing at least one woman carrying this bag. It's light weight and the black keeps it looking chic enough to tote to the office too. This water bottle is just too cute, and I'm obsessed with this breakfast club sweatshirt--perfect for throwing on after a dance class…or for grabbing breakfast. Ha! Some things will never change.

P.S. A list of my favorite workout studios here.
