One of the benefits of having a blog is that sometimes people buy you gifts off of your Currently Coveting. Like these amazing coasters. Needless to say, I'm obsessed.
I've been meaning to share this for a while because my best friend Jess gave me this perfume for Chrismukkah. I am not a big perfume person, but after I asked her what scent she was wearing 1,473 times she got the hint. It smells a lot like the Bond No. 9 perfume I love, but it's much less. Woo!
I am literally the least technologically inclined person. I think I get it from my mother who still owns (and uses) a mac laptop from 1996.
(As my cousin put it at Thanksgiving, it's the laptop in the movie Independence Day).
Anyway, Mike is more into that stuff and this weekend we picked up this little JBL speaker. I didn't think I would use it that much, but the last two nights I have come home and listened to music instead of turning on the TV. It's so easy to use and will be perfect for parties. It's also portable so you can take it to the beach, park or roof for your NYC dwellers. It's also really well priced!
And in a series that should have been called "things people bought me" Jess also gave me this amazing Manhattan cutting board. I cannot wait to use it as a cheese board for our next party. If you love it, Bed Bath & Beyond has it for every state. I particularly love the Michigan one. Of course. Best of all? It's a steal! It would be such a cute wedding gift.
By the way, there is a hilarious review for the Michigan board on Bed, Bath & Beyond.
"Why does this "state" cutting board only have half of my state? This happens all the time. The U.P. gets no respect. Board is OK."
If you're from Michigan you can appreciate that. Hilarious. Poor UP.
