what to wear // thanksgiving weekend

traveling shirt | sweater | boots | bag | coat | scarf | jeans | hat
lounging sweatpants | sweater | booties

Thanksgiving is next week and I cannot wait. Like many of you we will be heading out of town early and I am already planning my packing.

I love a coat with big secure pockets for flying so you can stash your boarding pass and cellphone right on your person. The airport (or car) is also the perfect place to wear your biggest pair of shoes or boots. They won't take up space in your luggage, and you can wear socks with them so you don't end up barefoot in security (gross!). And of course, layers are key when flying. I like a shirt with a sweater and a scarf in case it is extra cold.

Dinner at our house is pretty casual, but if you want to dress up I love this polka dot shirt paired with these sweet bow tights. Adorable.

And onto my favorite part of the weekend, lounging. Some comfy sweatpants, a warm and cozy cashmere sweater and these to.die.for fur booties are all you need for the perfect night (or day) in front of the fire.
