Last weekend we headed to Mont-Tremblant, Canada to watch our friend compete in the Ironman (a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike, and a full marathon). Let me just say, the Ironman is my new favorite sport. It was one of the most exciting, emotional and inspiring things I have ever witnessed. You cannot imagine how all of these people are attempting to complete such an incredible physical feat and you can't help but be right there cheering them on. I got completely choked up when our friend crossed the finish line (in under 10 hours!).

The city was gorgeous so I thought I would share a few pictures here. On Saturday we rented a boat and hung out on the lake, and on Sunday we spent most of the day walking around watching different parts of the race. There are so many fun activities there (fishing, horse back riding, rock climbing, hiking) it would be a great place to rent a house with friends or family for the summer. And of course, it's a beautiful ski resort in the winter. It's definitely on my list of places to return.
