We are going to start a new series called "Words Wednesdays," ok? This one got off to a late start, but better late than never.
Why Words Wednesdays? Because I love words: wise words, witty words, dirty words. I have been collecting quotes since the days of IM profiles and now Pinterest has made it even easier to keep all of my favorites in one spot. Sometimes, when I'm bored or feeling bummed, I just scroll through my Pinterest page of quotes and it makes me feel better. How corny is that? But I believe that words have power. So, I thought, what better way to get through hump-day than with some weekly words of wisdom and wit? And Wednesday starts with a W. It's all about alliteration folks.
And, who better to start our series than the uber-talented and incredibly funny Lena Dunham? When I thought of this series, I knew immediately what quote I wanted to start with. I saw this while ago over on JoAnna's blog and it just stuck with me. I mean, how true, right? It takes all of my self-control not to sign "xo" to everything I ever write. Work emails. Emails to people on eBay. Even emails to our Priest about the wedding. I mean is it OK to "xo" a priest? Probably not.
