I have a hard time committing to books. When I finish a good one it feels like a break-up. So sad that I can't even fathom starting a new one. #thingstotalkaboutintherapysomeday
My most recent break-up was with The Tender Bar. A memoir by J.R. Moehringer about his life as a boy growing up in Long Island. Centered around the town bar, and chock-full of Gatsby references, it is beautifully written, moving and left me in tears (like any real break-up). I highly, highly, recommend it. I'm also taking suggestions for new reads, you know...someday...when I'm ready...
