This weekend, as I was perusing the Wall Street Journal, I found something I have been looking for for the past few months: the perfect masculine duffle bag.
Enter Filson luggage, made of twill, leather and wool in the most masculine of colors. My dad was shocked I hadn't heard of Filson, and I was shocked that he had. (It's never a good moment when your dad upstages your bag knowledge, you know? Unless he is buying you said bag, in which case it's fine).
Regardless, I am completely enamored with all of Filson's selections. As purveyors of outdoor gear, they have been around since 1897 (with most products made in the USA) and as the WSJ said, their products only gets better with age. These bags are definitely being stashed away as gift ideas for the men in my life (and perhaps even for myself!).
