As I mentioned, last Saturday I was thrilled to attend the first ever Pepperolgie: A Five-Course Study of Style. I read about it over on Grace's blog and coerced my friend Jessie into going with me. Neither of us knew what to expect, and it ended up being one of the best things I have done in New York. We started out the day crafting necklaces with Grace, and I was blown away by how creative and talented everyone was...

Then Jessie did a fashion segment, featuring some of PJK Patterson J. Kincaid's current collection and this amazing metallic leather shell (perfect for the holidays). I wore the outfit from Monday's post...

After that, Donna showed us two things that every girl wants to know: how to do a smokey eye and how to achieve beach waves. (Hint, after you curl a section of hair, pin it up and let it set while you do your makeup. Take out the pins and brush until you have beachy perfection).

Then Jessie did a session on health and fitness. She showed us a 30 minute exercise routine you can do in your house and she gave us advice on healthy eating and cooking. We tried her healthy mac & cheese recipe last night and it was amazing...(although we did sub bacon in for dried tomatoes)...

Finally Roxy (who is just so amazingly cute in person) showed us how to up our hostessing game. We made a signature cocktails, and learned how to set a fancy table (all without breaking our budget). And Roxy introduced me to edible gold stars, which will probably become  a staple in my diet.

The whole day was just so fun. Not only did I learn from the lovely presenters, but I met a lot of amazing ladies and was floored by their talent and style. If you missed out, they are planning another Pepperologie for the spring. I for one, will most definitely be in attendance.

In the meantime, check out their blogs for more inspiration.
