on my mind: gray malin photography

I stumbled upon photographer Gray Malin's work over here & here and let me just say, I am in love. Let's start with the prints of Prada Marfa. Have you heard of Prada Marfa? Or seen it on Beyonce's tumbler perhaps?

If not, Prada Marfa is an art installation northwest of Marfa, Texas. And, you guessed it, it looks just like a Prada store (in fact, it houses the fall 2005 collection). It's so random, and like all things fashion related I absolutely love it. Anyway, Gray has an amazing collection of photos of the installation. My personal favorites are the cowboys and the horse....and the cowboy with the horse....ok maybe I just like them all.

And I mean. You know I love a good water photo...Gray also has an amazing collection of beaches and pools photographed from above.

...and yes please.

We have reached that point in our lives where we are now mature enough to purchase 'real' art, and needless to say this stunning photography is at the top of my wish list. And for the price? It can't be beat. Beautiful. Unique and supporting a young artist in the process.

Which ones do you like best?
