I love New York. I really do. However, there are a few times every year that the city, and the people, and the chaos (and the smells!) can make a midwestern girl feel like she might just loose her mind.
I know you feel me.
Which is why, New York real estate with private outdoor space is one of the ultimate luxuries. Perhaps even more important to those midwestern transplants who have a beacon for greenery in their DNA.
See what I mean?
But it's not just the outside that delivers. The inside is just as peaceful. What I love about Whealon's work is how he's able to mix modern and vintage pieces to create a high-end space that's soothing and peaceful, yet still full of character. (It's easy to veer into the all-white-no-soul space).
And he gets points for one of the most beautifully conceived TV camouflages out there.
The green painting in the kitchen reflects the trees on the wrap-around balcony.
