Twice in the last two weeks I have found myself in the backseat of a car on Bruckner Boulevard. As someone who gets fairly car-sick, I'm forced to stare out the windows until my journey ends. Both times I have been captivated by the Zaro's Bakery Building on the corner of Brucker Boulevard and Saint Ann's Avenue.
Well, once you've seen it, you won't forget it (click on the image to enlarge it).
I love how this one looks like it's hidden between two buildings.
Maybe it's the Detroit in me, but I have fantasies of all of the abandoned buildings in cities being reinvented through art like this. (Side note: Cincinnati has done an amazing job of putting up gorgeous murals throughout their downtown. Definitely worth checking out if you're there).
