My very stylish co-worker introduced me to No. 6, a small boutique in downtown New York. And today, I'm going to share it with you.
The store, which carries of-the-moment brands like Mansur Gavriel, also has their own line of clothing and shoes. My friend loves their clogs and at first I have to admit I was a bit skeptical. Clogs? What this Heidi?
However, like most things, once you learn about it, you notice it everywhere. They have since grown on me and now I'm coveting every pair. One of the reasons I love it, is that it seems to still be very word-of-mouth in New York. They don't have a huge presence on social media (unheard of these days) and they are only sold in a handful of stores.
The whole line reminds me of something that your cool European cousin would wear. Their shearling boots are like a grown up version of Uggs. Still comfortable, yet significantly more polished.
And for summer (oh how far away that seems) their sandals are simple yet substantial.
Each shoe is cleverly designed to create a flattering "V" shape on the foot. Plus, a little heel never hurt anyone during shorts season.
I'll take one of each. You can shop the entire store here.
