As many of you have probably realized, I have officially opened my design business. I explain the services on the ABOUT page but after getting several inquiries over the last week I thought it was about time I wrote a full post here.
I've been doing some work for friends over the last year and now am officially opening up these services to everyone. Thanks to the Internet, there are several ways we can work together.
The perfect option for someone who wants it all, I will visit your home, take measurements and discuss your goals. From there, I will select fabric, furniture and accessories to complete your space.
Not ready for the full thing? E-design is a great way to get an expert opinion and guidance as you redecorate. Consider this option like having a stylish designer friend. You send photos and measurements of your space. Then, we will work together over the phone and online to put together the space of your dreams. See the sample e-design proposal here.
Do your bookshelves need an overhaul? Do you want help decorating for the holidays? Do you need a hand picking out the perfect coffee table? Styling is the perfect option for smaller projects.
WHY TO DO IT
Design should be accessible. A lot of people feel like they can't afford an interior designer but the truth is a good designer will actually save you money in the long run. My goal is to help you eliminate costly mistakes (that sofa that ended up being way too big) and to give you practical advice (like where to splurge and where to save). My own apartment is a collection of vintage and thrift store finds alongside Target and even a few designer pieces. It's all about finding the balance between high and low. I also believe in transparency and charge on a per-room basis. That means there are no mysterious hourly fees or extra costs. No project is too big or too small, so please feel free to reach out HERE with any questions or inquiries. Consultations start at $50.
